Hi guys!

We are back in this new year! As Kathy and Harmony has mentioned in the last two entries, we got the chance to go to DongGuan, China during our Winter break. It was an experience like no other, especially on Christmas. Playing in the rain and wind in such low temperatures without complete sounds checks and so many other challenges was a one-of-a-kind experience for all of us--definitely something that I would remember for life! More exciting details of the day are in Kathy’s entry.

It was simply amazing seeing how God brought all the Christians in the factory together because of the rain, all holding hands, praying and praising God. I think it was a great reminder to all of us of the power of prayers and that He is above all, that He is in control of everything. No matter how hard we prepared and practiced for the events, no matter how much we want to do something, ultimately everything still falls in His hands. This was my fondest memory of the trip.

Last week, Kathy, Yee and I were sharing with our youth group about what we have learned and experienced serving in LTF. While I was preparing and looking for some thoughts that I have jotted down, I stumble upon reflections that I wrote after a few events last semester. While I was reading those entries, I could not stop praising God for what He has done in our group, for all the surprises that He has given us. He was exactly as mentioned in Eph 3:20:

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

To Him be the glory! Indeed, God has been working in me and in our team, using us in ways that we did not expect. We were just discussing about the lack of confidence that we have sometimes going into an event because the task expected of us seemed so challenging and impossible to accomplish. But God always seem to help us through each of these challenges and show us how almighty and powerful He is! When He wants to use us, He always provides us with whatever we need to accomplish what He wants us to do. We did not have to worry and stress out so much! We just needed to try our best and leave the rest to Him.

I am so thankful for lessons learned the past semesters with LTF and I am eager to see what God has for us in this new year!
